The word doc attached is a great lesson that ties Geometry (angle messures) into absolute value functions. The lesson challenges students to analyze the ever-changing angles of the hands of a clock and has them plot the results in a graph, which fascinatingly creates an absolute value function. Lot of deep-thinking involved; this lesson is great for honors students and regular upper Algebra courses.
