What are some creative ways of teaching/explaining this?

I made a sohcahtoa rhyme for 6 trig function def. drill them every day, give worksheets of word problems to practice. assign project to creat word problems in a poster/booklet/comic book to find missing sides and missing angels in a right triangle using 6 trig functions and inverse angle. my students ware very creative, and they created word problems such as Miss Tsai threw a freesbee at 34 degree angle and it stuck in a tree that is 10 feet tall, how far did Miss Tsai trhow the freesbee? they also use pokemon as story line to do this project. They had fun, and they did a good job creating word problems and they tend to do well in those type of word problems in summative CST.
