When introducing 45-45-90 and 30-60-90 triangles, I explain to my students that “When every triangle gets born, they hope and pray they get born as one of these two triangles. They are the greatest two triangles of all time. They have everything going for them: A Right Angle, an awesome pattern, no pythagorean theorem necessary. They are the celebrities of all triangles.”
