The PDF linked below challenges a student to demonstrate understanding of the concepts of statistical methods used to display, analyze, compare, and interpret data. A student must make sense of the shape of the data distribution, including finding measures of center and spread. A student must be able to give a mathematical justification and argument for the use of one measure of center or spread to best support a particular stance, be it political or economic.
