Powerpoint lesson on Angle Bisectors.
Slide 5 illustrates a map of Southern California. In this slide I discuss a situation in which a married couple has jobs in different cities. The husband’s job requires him to take the 405 freeway to get to work, while the wive’s job requires her to take the 5 freeway. Since the freeways intersect, they form an angle. So the only way for them to be equidistant to both freeways, is to live in a neighborhood that lies somewhere on the angle bisector of the two freeways.
