The activity linked below can be used in class as a sort of contest. Basically the students pick any point on the coordinate plane, roll two dice, decide on their numerator and denominator based on what numbers they roll. They then decide if they want positive or negative. They then rise and run from their original point, and their goal is to continue rolling new slopes until then arrive back at their point. They must record each roll. Teachers can get creative with prizes Bingo-style.
