When discussing the Theorem on how every point on an angle bisector is equidistant to the sides of the angle, I’ll tell the students the story (and illustrate it) of how one of my friend’s wife got a new job which required her to take another freeway which was 25 minutes away from where they currently lived, so as a compromise, they agreed to move to an apartment that was near the imaginary angle bisector on the map between the two freeways.
