Logs are like hamburgers?

One way of explaining the logarithms is by comparing them to hamburgers

A standard hamburger of course has the meat, lettuce, tomato, sauce etc sandwiched between the two buns.

Now imagine eating a hamburger that everything completely out of order–the buns on bottom with the meat, lettuce, and sauce on top. If you ate it you’d still get the same meal, but it’s an unusual way of eating the burger.

Same with logs. It’s the same idea, but everything is out of whack.

The top equation is the normal “burger.” The log equation is the bizarro “burger.”
