In the lesson linked below, Students will compete in a Big Race to model different slopes in the real world and be able to contextualize slope.
Note: this lesson involves students going outside and competing in different methods of racing, so this lesson requires solid leadership and facilitation from the teacher or this lesson can spiral out of control in a hurry.
