In going over the **Triangle Sum Theorems, **particularly the corollary pertaining to the two acute angles of a right triangle being complementary, I like to do a problem involving a handicapped wheelchair ramp, and how it must meet a certain angle requirement in order to be deemed safe. I’ll then point out that in *Forrest Gump, *the ramp wasn’t safe, and Lt. Dan went dangerously sliding down the icy ramp.

Note: this picture does not involve finding for angles, so I’ll include angles for the two acute angles like 8x and x and have them solve for x.
