When discussing the Theorem on how every point on an angle bisector is equidistant to the sides of the angle, I’ll tell the students the story (and draw a picture) of how one of my friend’s wife got a new job which required her to take another freeway which was 25 minutes away from where they currently lived, so as a compromise, they agreed to move to an apartment that was near the imaginary angle bisector on the map between the two freeways.
